1. How to operate the flick menu

The flick menu is one of the functions that can be assigned to the flat ring. A ring-shaped menu will expand around the mouse cursor (pen in a pen tablet), and shortcuts will be executed according to the cursor movement direction.

It is recommended to register tool switching, etc. to the flick menu function, and basically you can assign 8 functions to one single button.

It is also recommended to use it as a "switch" when you want to execute a single action on a single button.
By selecting "Switch" in the Flat Ring setting screen, you can select the switch setting.

2. Frequently used cases
■ Recommended settings in SAI2

・Fill
・Select
・Deselect
・Color correction
You can improve the efficiency of your work by putting two-step operations, such as fill selection, deselect selection, and color correction (Ctrl+U), into the flick menu.
It is also recommended to use the "Program Macro" function, which allows you to perform a series of operations such as select, fill, and deselect in a single action.

■ Recommended settings in CLIP STUDIO

・Brush

・Eraser
By registering brushes that you use frequently, you can quickly switch to a different texture by simply moving the pen on the screen when you want to use a different brush.

By setting the above, especially the ones you use frequently, you can call them up quickly. Another advantage is that you don't have to remember the shortcut keys.

Other shortcut keys like the ones above allow you to, for example, hit two opaque keyframes, select a keyframe, and flick the cursor in the direction of the "Ease In" or "Ease Out" you want to execute, and attach it immediately.

■ Recommended settings in Premiere Pro

・Color Selection (Set various colors)
When the cut is getting longer or there are more scenes, this function is used to color-code where the scene is. For example, when you consider several clips as one scene from one clip, you can colorize the clips by pressing the "Color Selection" switch to display the flick menu.

・New text
You can easily type a message by setting it in the flick menu.
・Grouping
・Nesting
"Grouping" is used when you want to group multiple clips together, and "Nesting" is used when you want to combine multiple clips, text, sound, etc. into one clip.
